How to use: After assembling the instrument, place the instrument in the sun. Move the chassis, adjust the instrument so that it is in a horizontal position, and accept the sunlight in a straight line. Rotate the chassis to align the sun, let the light illuminate the vertical object (AB) and project it on the scale. At this time, the shadow length can be measured, and the direction of the shadow and the orientation of the sun can be obtained from the compass on one side of the scale. . Slide the angle disc so that the top of the shadow of the vertical object (AB) falls exactly at the center of the angle disc. The scale (angle) pointed by the wire (AC) pointer is the height of the sun at the moment.
