Our company was established by our company partners who have been working on educational materials and software for many years, and were on the same page relying on the watchword ‘Education hinders ignorance’; aims to contribute developing the quality in education with its technological products and constructive projects, created with researcher, innovative and modern approaches, have been put into service of our national education.The provincial pilot applications of ‘Starfish: Individual Recognition and Guidance Project’, which our company partners have prepared with qualified education and technology accumulated team, have been successfully realized in two different regions of our country.
Our company closely follows the developments on educational equipment in the world, has established solution partnerships abroad, and primarily have document cameras and interactive boards productions completed in accordance with our educational system in control of its team. Our company R&D staff continuously travels to the countries proved its success in education field for following the innovations.
R&D team of our company prepared and presented a large project created with TÜBİTAK KAMAG 1007 format, called ‘Forming Turkish Sign Language System: Based on the Vocabulary and Grammar’ to TIDBO in 2008; TIDBO was constituted by the representatives from Turkish Language Association, Prime Ministry Administration of Disability, Ministry of National Education, Social Services and Child Protection Agency and National Federation of Hearing Impaired. Our R&D team has participated to the workshops and contributed to the works along with former President of Turkish Language Association Prof. Dr. Şükrü Halûk Akalın, former Vice President of Turkish Language Association Prof. Dr. Recep Toparlı, Prof. Dr. A. Melek Özyetgin from University of Ankara Faculty of Language and History-Geography and authorities from other institutions and associations.
In the year 2016, our company was appointed as the contractor out of the tender TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) established for providing 1,000 sets, which consists 24,000 items, of experiment sets for age 10+ students, whose intellectual property rights belong to TUBITAK and basically made of four groups as Electric, Magnetism, Chemistry-Biology, Design-Technology. The experiment sets were delivered to the Association on the 9th December 2016, much sooner than the deadline. Authorities from BİLSEM (Science and Art Centre, depends on the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Special Education Guidance and Counselling Services) gained hands-on training from the authorities of TUBITAK; later on mentioned experiment sets were sent to nationwide BİLSEM institutions by cargo. It was expressed by the authorities that such actions being the first in our country shall continue and spread to other educational institutions as well.
One of the main objectives of ECE Education and Teaching Materials Co., Ltd is taking part in social works and projects. Our company would be proud working in such projects in the future, as were in the past.
