Description
- Import of ECE
- Compatible with the curriculum
- Suitable for school, projects, experiment
- Our product is an educational material in which the scientific achievements of concepts such as the working principle of the DC electric motor, magnetic force lines, the relationship between rotor rotation and current direction and magnetic lines can be acquired, and at the same time, manual and mental skills can be developed.
- The product is offered disassembled. In this way, the main structure of the electric motor will be better understood by the user
- Working voltage: DC 3.0V-6.0V
- Sizes: 140mm x 90mm x 103mm
- Permanent magnet: 22mm x 20mm x 20mm Br ≥ 72 mT
- Magnetic flux density: ≥ 72Mt
- The product is shipped with 2 AA battery holders.
- Batteries required for the experiment will be provided by the user.
Application
- Product assembly shall be done in accordance with the product images.
- Both copper brushes must individually firmly contact both copper parts in the commutator. Brushes should never touch the same copper part of the commutator at the same time. Otherwise there will be a short circuit
- Connect the cable lugs to the mechanism, paying attention to their colors, as seen in the images, and tighten the terminals.
- Connect the other ends of the cables to the cables coming from the battery compartment.
- Insert the batteries into the battery compartment. Never provide power above the values (3.0V-6.0V) specified on our product page. Otherwise, the mechanism will be damaged.
- The coil will rotate and accelerate when the voltage rises
Targeted Gains:
- Realizes that electric current is a type of energy transfer.
- Realizes that electrical energy sources provide electrical current to the circuit.
- Realizes that in order for current to occur in electrical circuits, there must be a closed circuit.
- Expresses that the direction of current in an electrical circuit is assumed to be from the positive pole of the generator to the negative pole and shows it by drawing it on the circuit diagram.
- Explores and presents the places where the magnetic effect of electric current is used in daily life.
- Realizes that electrical energy turns into kinetic energy.
- Refers to the precautions that must be taken for the conscious use of electrical energy.
- Compares the working principles of the electric motor and dynamo.
