Application:
- The ebonite rod is rubbed against the woolen fabric to create a negative charge, and the acrylic rod is rubbed against the silk fabric to create a positive charge.
- With the help of an electroscope, the potential difference between two charged objects can be determined, and it can be understood whether an object is charged, whether it is charged with a negative or positive charge, or whether it is uncharged.
- For a successful experiment, clean the ebonite and acrylic rods from moisture by wiping them with a dry cloth.
