It is designed to be used to describe light refractions and reflections in optics.
This light refraction experiment apparatus is a science teaching tool used to demonstrate the laws of reflection and refraction to students.
When used with a plane mirror, it demonstrates reflection phenomena and proves that the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection.
Rough surfaced plate can demonstrate diffusion phenomena
When used with a semi-circle block, it can demonstrate refraction phenomena
